Why Walmart Marketplace Is Worth It Right Now
Walmart.com is the second-largest online marketplace in the US, but it has far fewer third-party sellers than Amazon. That means less competition per product, cheaper advertising and a real chance for a new store to win the Buy Box. The catch is that Walmart is stricter: approval, account health targets and listing quality all matter more than most sellers expect.
That is where an experienced Walmart account manager pays for themselves. I started selling on Walmart in 2021, when I founded my own eCommerce agency, Reblate Solutions & Service Providers, and grew it to a team of 17–20 people. Since then I have worked on more than 40 Walmart stores across wholesale, private label and dropshipping.
Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)
WFS is Walmart's version of FBA. Items stored in Walmart's warehouses get the free 2-day shipping tag, rank better in search and are favored for the Buy Box. Setting it up the first time is fiddly — item conversion, inbound orders, labels and prep rules all have to be right, or shipments get stuck. I handle the whole process so your first shipment is received cleanly.
Walmart PPC that pays for itself
Walmart Sponsored Products is still cheaper per click than Amazon ads. I start with automatic campaigns to collect search data, move winning keywords into manual campaigns, add negatives to stop waste and adjust bids weekly. The target is simple: ad spend that returns more than it costs.
